NaNoWriMo Recap 2010
I did it.
Not well, but I did it. Granted, I haven't finished it yet, and it needs a lot of work, but I did it.
That is three years running now, and I am very happy with myself about that.
The bigger issue now is that I have to finish it. I have 3/4 of a book written, and it just sits there waiting for an ending. I don't think that is very fair now, do you? Seriously, if I were a book I would want to know how I end. Otherwise I would feel as though I had never really fulfilled my life's purpose, and instead I just sit there, unwritten, incomplete, never living out my destiny. Frankly? That would suck.
For now I will just leave it, read the last few pages every week or so to get a feel for where it is at, and then finally one day I will pick it up, put pen to paper, and VOILA! An ending will appear.
Okay, that is totally a lie. I don't actually "write" the book. I simply type it out on my laptop. Much easier on my hands that way, and I can type faster than I can actually write. Replay that last bit.
Soon, I will simply flip open my laptop, manically throw a bunch of words onto the screen, and VOILA! An ending will appear.
That's better....or at least more truthful. Looks like NaNoWriMo 2010 will likely be done in 2011, because that is just how I roll.
